Blue Bird Bus Conversion – In the Shop Ep. 5

In the Shop Episode 5

In this 5th episode of In the Shop, we get an update of some cool projects in the shop including a Class refresh, a Blue Bird bus conversion, a Four Winds tail light repair and a van conversion.

Class C Fresh Update

Class C TV Upgrade
Updated television install

We start with an update to the latest and largest possible television, an install that makes it look like it came from the factory.

Added a Xantrex inverter, upgraded the battery systems to power up the tv, microwave, and have enough juice to live off the grid.

We fixed some big issues on this motorhome: a fresh water tank leak due to a hose, and a leak on the gray water tank, which is for your shower and sink.

In the bedroom, we see the updated inverter panel, and a full motion mounted TV which allows full access behind it and full viewing at any angle.

The two new slide out toppers keep debris from getting in. New platform in the rear storage to house the new Xantrex inverter.

With every RV service and repair, we shampoo the carpets and wash the outside of the coach for free.

Blue Bird Bus Conversion to Bookmobile Update

Blue Bird Conversion to Bookmobile

The Blue Bird Bus Conversion to City Bookmobile Library is back from the wrap shop. The custom wrap on the outside outlines where the vehicle is going.
We re-installed the awning and sprayed the entire roof with a white raptor coating which does better than a white vinyl wrap.

Four Winds Body Repair

Four Winds Tail Light Repair

Rear tail light is repaired. The base coat is painted. The clear coat is on, after curing, we’ll finish it up with a cut and polish. Which will yield that rich deep like new color. After that, the ladder will be re-installed and its back on the road.

Van Conversion Reveal – Special Events Van for Local Community

Van Conversion Integrated Awning

This van conversion has a custom wrap with their logos, 12 volt power awning with 12 foot LED rope light. We mounted a roof rack, and painted the brackets to make it look like it was designed to be that way.

A cooling pattern black vinyl flooring replaces the previous standard floor liner.
Built custom cabinets to house totes and chairs and everything they need.
Running boards in the back and passenger side allow for easy access.

At Leisure Coachworks, our RV repair services and upgrades, ranges from basic maintenance to complete RV restoration. This includes all makes, models and types.
