RV to Mobile Classroom conversion | Ep 4

Total RV Teardown to Complete Classroom on Wheels

When we last saw this Winnebago RV conversion, the team was mocking up the interior after the wiring and other structural changes had been completed.

Now we’re back to show you the exterior progress and take a look inside this mobile classroom on wheels.

RV Conversion to Mobile Classroom Exterior

The distinctive Winnebago exterior skin has been completely removed. Any surface imperfections have been repaired, and the mirrors, handles, and sealant removed. The RV is now ready for a brand new wrap to be securely installed and sealed.

The last time we visited this RV conversion, we had a cutout for the exterior TV. That TV has been installed and secured so that it won’t be damaged by the vehicle’s movement.

The water tanks are gone and the space is now pass-through storage. There is more outside accessible storage in the rear of the vehicle. The awnings have come off and the surface decals removed to make this mobile classroom completely ready for its new wrap.

RV Conversion to Mobile Classroom Interior

What a huge change inside this mobile classroom! The team put in lots of seating, keeping the look sleek and functional. Booths and shelves have replaced the kitchen and bathroom to use every inch of space.

The wiring is hidden behind a panel next to the entryway. It’s easy to access and out of the way. Reconfigured heating vents, a reinstalled wheelchair lift, and removable tables keep the space comfortable, versatile, and practical.

This RV conversion turned the bedroom area into a built-in custom enclosure with overhead cabinets and a 65 inch TV. The team installed new flooring to make the enclosure accessible.

Leisure Coachworks takes pride in expert craftsmanship

This enclosure allows the mobile classroom to make use of the under-bed storage via an exterior door and contains some shelves for extra interior storage.

In place of the Winnebago’s refrigerator, the team installed a set of permanent shelves. The shelves have a lip to keep anything placed on them from falling.

The former sofa became more seating, custom-designed to match the rest of the booths. The entire interior is cohesive, with even the step cover using the same flooring as the rest of the build.

Leisure Coachworks takes pride in expert craftsmanship that keeps every element of an RV conversion looking like it was always meant to be exactly as it is. Color schemes, flooring, wall panels, woodwork, and more are consistent and built to fit the space precisely.

The RV conversion of this Winnebago into a mobile classroom is just one of many examples of our dedication to quality, custom designs that match each customer’s vision for their RV lifestyle.
