In the Sop Ep 3

Teardrop Trailer Update & Sprinter Van Conversion | In the Shop Ep 3

Slide-Out Repair

The team has finished up the exterior work on the Alfa motorhome slide-out that was damaged when it was hit by a truck. The room has been reinstalled on straightened rams, the fiberglass matches the rest of the coach, and final leak testing is taking place.

This coach will be back on the road in no time, better than it was before the accident.

Teardrop Trailer Update

The trailer is up on its new chassis and has been primed and is ready for its Bauhaus paint job. A storage box, battery box, and built-in propane sit on the new straight, strong A-Frame.

A new roof vent has been installed and the interior overhead cabinets have been mocked up. There are three cabinets plus additional storage in the new design.

The interior doors will be covered with colored Formica and the ceiling will be paneled in a soothing cream color.

The rear kitchen is underway.

Already installed is a two-burner cooktop that lifts to reveal a sink. Cabinets and drawers are in the mock-up stage. The refrigerator and heater have been installed with plenty of room to spare.

There is a bike rack on the back that is easily removed so it won’t interfere with the use of the kitchen. The color palette is now reds, yellows, and blues for this Bauhaus design.

Sprinter Van Conversion

This van is being converted into a day trip camper. The panels have been removed and the ceiling and walls have been insulated. Two booth seats will convert into a bed and easily back to booth seating.

The hole for a new roof vent has been created and a diesel heater will go in under one of the seats.

Leisure Coachworks has power hook-ups for customers who live in their RVs. That way they can be comfortable at night and the crew can work on their repairs during the day. All types of RV lifestyles are supported in this shop.
