Recently, a local college got in touch with Leisure Coachworks to say that they were looking to have a mobile classroom built. But not just any mobile classroom, oh no, they wanted a Winnebago to mobile classroom conversion, and who better to tackle the project than the pros at LCW?
The first phase of the project involved stripping down the Winnebago, and removing some unnecessary components, such as the water heater, then getting the Winnebago ready for the conversion.
You have to start with a plan and then work through it one step at a time.
But, where do you even begin with a project like this? You have to start with a plan and then work through it one step at a time. So, how did the experts at Leisure Coachworks do it?
Starting the RV to Mobile Classroom On Wheels Conversion
First things first, the kitchen and appliances needed to be removed to make more space for the classroom. The bathroom, bathroom walls, and tank also had to go. The paneling then needed to be replaced on the ceiling, and after that, the bedroom had to be removed.
Most of the interior needed to be stripped out to make room for the new design. That sounds like a lot of work, and it was, but now that all of those things are out of the way, the team is ready to get started with the conversion, and that’s exciting.
Check out the video below to watch how the guys at Leisure Coachworks tackled the first phase of the project and get a sense of just how awesome the final build will be.
