Arrowhead Corporate BBQ Trailer Conversion

Food Truck Trailer Conversion

Arrowhead Trailer Conversion - Before

Taking a semi-truck trailer and converting it into a barbecue is no small task. The conversion had been started when it came into Leisure Coachworks, but it had a long way to go. We were ready to get started and turn this plain trailer into an amazing BBQ food truck!

The exterior got a custom paint job with the customer’s brand logo and complementary design. Custom entry steps and a good solid door to keep in the air conditioning were important functional additions. It already looks great before we even set foot inside!

Necessity Meets Design

We want our customers to tell us everything they need in an RV or trailer conversion. Once we know what must be included our design teams and technicians put their expertise and experience to work.

The finished project for this trailer conversion goes above and beyond expectations with stylish function that incorporates everything necessary into a feature-packed finished product. Unlike a smaller project like a van conversion, we had to consider comfort, design, and a commercial application for the kitchen.

Brand Meets Décor

Arrowhead Trailer Conversion - Interior

For this job, the interior needed to match the customer’s brand. Including custom logos and incorporating their brand colors made the space distinct. Blue vinyl combined with cool neutral countertops and flooring to create a brand feel without being overwhelming.

The seating area build was split into two halves. The front half has booth seats and removable counters. A large screen TV is set into the front to allow for entertainment or presentations.

Stylish function that incorporates everything necessary.

The back half has stool seating with semi-circle tables attached to the walls for a nice, spacious eating area. Both halves were fitted with roller shades.

Also located in the back are a cooler and a built-in control center. A solar system combined with a diesel generator and inverter provides enough power to operate the onboard freezers and refrigerators for eight hours without running a generator.

Trailer Conversion Meets Food Truck Kitchen

Through a sturdy door, the eating area leads to a custom kitchen. Large work areas, plenty of storage, one regular grill, and one barbecue grill sit along one side. The grills are vented and the rear opens to provide access and shade.

Along the opposite side sit a deep freezer and refrigerator beneath a serving counter. Also tucked into this space is a sink that allows hot water hand washing for safe food preparation.

Nice big fans keep the cooks cool in the kitchen.

Both sides are open to the outside and can be covered and protected by exterior coverings.

This build began with a barely started plain semi-trailer and ended with seating for 30 and a top-quality mobile kitchen. The branding for the customer makes a splash on the exterior but is toned down inside for a relaxed space with comfortable, versatile seating options and two kinds of tables.

Making the most of the space, the food truck kitchen occupies the rear of this BBQ trailer conversion. Because of the custom indoor seating, the converted semi-trailer can be used even if the weather doesn’t always cooperate with outdoor plans.

Our Leisure Coachworks teams made sure the seating areas provide plenty of options and space to move around. The kitchen has everything the customer needs to bring this BBQ trailer to any kind of event and feed as many people as they want.

This RV trailer is now a traveling custom BBQ venue with all the features the customer needs in a modern, functional, and great-looking package.
