Toterhome WRAPPING: How They Do It? | Ep 3

Welcome back to our RV remodel of a 2020 Renegade toterhome. In episode one, we saw the vehicle’s dated, worn out, burgundy furnishings that needed a fresh RV interior upgrade.

In episode two, we saw the beautiful interior remodel. It looks brand new, like it was always meant to be that way.

The customer decided it was time to bring the RV exterior up to speed as well. Today we’re learning how to choose the right method for getting a whole new look.

A professional RV exterior paint job lasts for many, many years. But it is difficult to change and more expensive than a wrap.

This toterhome is a big vehicle.

The front, at about 30 feet, is large all on its own. Add the trailer and the team has another 40 feet to transform. The front and one side of this rig’s current wrap are cracked and worn from exposure to the elements. The other side looks great, but the whole wrap will have to be replaced.

Wraps only last for a handful of years. They’re ideal for RV exteriors like this one that will to be changed every few years to add logos or change designs. The other benefits of a wrap include a lower price tag and faster job completion. The team will use a high-quality sun-block to help this new wrap last as long as possible.

The team will also take this chance to clean and refresh the chrome moldings so the entire vehicle looks like new. Subscribe to the Leisure Coachworks YouTube channel and join us next time to see the finished project.
